Tonight I am looking forward to tonight’s professional boxing event “Thursday Night Thunder” at Evangeline Downs Racetrack and casino at Evangeline Downs. The main event will be between Jarred “The Lethal Weapon” Leblanc and Tyrone “Soulja Black” Selders. Boxing matches teach you that you can always learn something new in the world of photography. And it also teaches you that just because you don’t always need to purchase the fastest camera on the shelf. Professional Boxing is one of the most challenging sports to photograph, with Figure Skating being second for myself.
Two other fights I am looking forward to are Jeff Humphries who is currently undefeated, and Yashon Livings; a female professional boxer.
It will be my first time photographing a female professional boxer without headgear tonight. I am sure it will be another learning experience. But one thing is for sure it will be fun. See you tonight at Evangeline Downs. The first bell rings at 6:45.
The after party for Local Professional Boxer will begin immediately after the match at Scandals Nite Club in Lafayette, LA around 10:45pm
